What Makes Our Office “Allergy Patient Friendly?”
- There is no carpeting in the patient areas. This is because carpeting harbors dust mites and often contain mold. We have used a combination of tile and vinyl flooring to give the appearance of hardwoods while staying economical and functional.
- There is no upholstered furniture in the patient areas. We have used a combination of wood, leather and vinyl because fabric harbors dust mites.
- There are no live plants in the patient areas. This is because soil harbors mold.
- There are no drapes in the patient areas. This is because cloth drapes harbor dust mites.
- There are HEPA filters in the waiting room to help filter pollens and other microscopic allergens.
- The perfumed inserts in magazines have been removed to help our asthma and rhinitis patients who are triggered by strong odors.
- Low VOC paints were used in the office interior to decrease the smell of strong odors

1. Take Highway 280 East toward Chelsea.
2. Turn right on Valleydale Road past Fresh Market (on the right) and across from Home Depot (on the left).
3. Turn right onto Inverness Center Drive, across from Ashley Mac’s and Ginza.
4. Drive past Beaumont Pharmacy (on left). Take the next left onto Herrington Street.
5. Our building is the first building on the right. Turn right in front of our building to park.
From Chelsea and Points South
1. Take Highway 280 West toward Birmingham.
2. Turn left onto Inverness Center Drive past Valleydale Road and Fresh Market (on the left).
3. Turn right onto Herrington Street (last street before reaching Valleydale Road).
4. Our building is the first building on the right. Turn right in front of our building to park.
